Messaging apps shrink and re-compress your video on the way, so the copy the other person sees is not the file you exported.

If your exported video looks sharp on your phone but blurry in the chat, the problem is usually the journey, not your editing. Most messaging apps shrink the file and compress it again before sending. The copy your customer opens is a lighter, simpler version of what you made.
This is normal behaviour, not a bug in your phone. The app is trying to save data and send the message quickly. The trouble is that small text, faces and fine detail suffer first.
Before you change anything, put the two versions side by side. Open the original file you exported and the version the person on the other side received. Look at the same moment in both.
This one step tells you where the problem lives. If the original is sharp and the received copy is soft, your editing is fine and the delivery is the issue. If the original is already soft, the problem started earlier, in the source footage or in the export settings.
A video that a messaging app has already shrunk may not hold enough detail for further work. If you still have the original clips, go back to those. Saving and sending copies again and again can make quality worse each time.
Check your framing as well. A heavy zoom into a small part of the picture can look soft even with no extra compression. A wider shot or better footage helps more than a bigger resolution number at export.
Some services let you send a file as a document, or share a download link to the original. Check what your specific app offers today, because these options change. If you share a private video by link, look at the access permissions so only the right people can open it.
If the video has just been uploaded to a public platform, watch it again once that platform has finished processing it. Do not judge the whole process by the first small preview. What matters is the final version people can actually play.
For short business videos, the safest habit is to keep one clean master file and send it in the least lossy way the app allows. That way your opening line, your captions and your product shots stay readable on a small screen.
It also helps to design for small screens from the start. Large text, simple framing and short clips survive compression far better than busy scenes with tiny details.
When you are ready, upload your own phone clips to Relsko. The assistant asks at most a couple of questions and proposes three concepts. You pick one, Relsko makes three cut variants of it, and you download the one you like. Standard export is open to everyone, and animated captions are in beta. You can register for 30 days of full access without a card.
Röviden: If your export is sharp but the sent copy is blurry, the messaging app compressed it on the way, so send the original file in a less lossy way.
Mutasd meg, mit csinálsz, órákig tartó vágás nélkül.
